Residents of Nairobi’s Zimmerman estate raised alarm over an idle land in the area that they claim gangs have turned into a dump site of dead bodies. While condemning the acts and security threats that land is posing, residents called on the local administration to assess the security of the land.
Mr. paul Obwocha raised a concern than that there can be possibilities of people killed elsewhere and their bodies dumped there, placing innocents youth from the neighborhood to answer to questions they have no idea of. Some have gone to jail, young families have been broken, separated and some exposed to abject poverty.
The feel that comes with the fact that there are high chances of having dead bodies rotting in that idle land is a scare resulting to trauma in the neighborhood. Politicians promise to address it forget soon as they ascend to power.
