Police have this morning arrested a headteacher in Bomet County who had allegedly turned up to collect KCPE examination papers while drunk.
David Ngerich, heads Sonokwek Primary School. He caused a stir when he staggered to the exams pick up center, The Bomet County Commissioner’s office.
Mr Ngerich who was visibly drunk, staggered into the exams collection center demanded to be served before the rest. The ill mannered teacher surprised government officials present, security personnel and fellow teachers who had gathered to collect the exam papers.
The incident took the intervention of Bomet County Commander Naomi Ichami who ordered his immediate arrest and replacement.
