Senate Assembly Majority leader Kipchumba Murkomen on Monday sent a message to Chief Justice(CJ) David Maraga over his troubles with the Executive.
The message came moments after the CJ, in a press conference, cited a number frustrations directed towards the Judiciary by the Executive.
Taking to his twitter account to comment on the matter, Murkomen tactically urged Maraga to use his position and powers to fight back at his tormentors.
“My MESSAGE to the Chief Justice @dkmaraga your have teeth, BITE. “A tiger does not proclaim its trigritude before it strikes.” You gave your tormentors an inch they want a mile,” tweeted Murkomen.
“All said and done I STAND with the CJ and the JUDICIARY.”
On Monday, Maraga lamented over a number of instances in which he was intimidated despite his high ranking position in the country.
The CJ revealed that he was denied official vehicle, access to the VIP lounge at JKIA airport and also said he has been disrespected a number of times at state functions.
The CJ attributed the woes to the government’s intention to control the Judiciary.
He, however, said he will not be cowed by the onslaught directed towards him and the Judiciary.
