President Uhuru Kenyatta and former prime minister Raila Odinga on Saturday night excited Kenyans after making an appearance at the highly anticipated UB40 concert which went down at Carnivore grounds.
The concert saw the performance of the UK reggae sensation Ali Campbell and Astro as they marked their 40th anniversary with a tour dubbed – A real Labour of a Love.
In several videos going round on social media, the head of state was captured dancing to the reggae music. Kenyatta got the crowd cheering after the host of the event Jeff Koinange asked the audience to applaud him. He later got on stage with Raila to show off their dancing prowess.

This is however not the first time that the President has expressed his profound love for reggae music.
In a previous interview, the head of state mentioned UB40 among his favorite reggae musicians. According to Kenyatta, the reggae genre closest to his heart is particularly the Old school reggae.
“I’m stuck in a certain age, my favorite musicians are UB40, Bob Marley, Gregory Isaacs…” he disclosed.
Other than UB40, Kenyatta also revealed that Bob Marley was one of his best singers. Some of his best tunes from the Jamaican sensation include Stir It Up and Redemption song.
Other personalities who were spotted during the concert include Tallia Oyando and Sports CS Amina Mohammed. The UB40 band performed for only an hour, and were done by 10 PM. The concert is believed to have closed off by 1 AM.ittle birds.
