Tough economic times in this Uhurunomics reign have left everyone scavenging everywhere. Everyone wants to get financial stability and that has created an uncouth culture of get-rich quick that has opened gates to con property developers that are selling empty promises to already optionless society.
Diamond Property Merchants are scamming people. This is actually happening at a time that the State has invested billions of money on investigative agencies like EACC and DCI.
Hi Kenyan Bulletin,
I am reader of your informative articles. I would like you to expose Diamond Property Merchants; there are plots of land they were selling along Juja farm.
In May 2019, they took me there near Precious Blood, selling me a plot at Kshs. 1.2 million then after 3 days I as shown the same land by another broker.
That is when I decided to know whether they were related. Because this is how people are conned in this Town.
Shock on me as I later found Diamond Property did not own the land yet, they had shown me the land and were so eager and sweet talking me to make advance payment.
The alleged owner erected a board warning people the property does not belong to Diamond Property
I don’t know if the DCI and EACC followed the case where it’s alleged that Diamond Properties sold the same piece of land to almost 10 people. Simple quick maths results to a well orchestrated scam making a cool Kshs. 12 million.
This is not the first, Leakey’s Auctioneers advertised that the 28-acre freehold land located on Kangundo Road, Machakos, is up for sale.
Hundreds of buyers, who had purchased the land and were planning to put up houses were exposed to major losses.
An official at Leakey’s Auctioneers told the Business Daily in confidence that they intend to sell the property to recover the money that the investment company owes the bank.
