Cristiano Ronaldo was presented with a huge cake bearing ‘CR7’ to celebrate his 35th birthday, as well as a brand new car.
Joined by girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez and son Cristiano Jr, the Juventus forward uploaded a picture on his Instagram showing off the edible masterpiece.
Sporting a big smile and holding two thumbs up, Ronaldo said: “It’s time to celebrate my birthday. Thanks to my love for this amazing surprise.”
The cake came complete with ‘CR7’ sparklers, as well as a star, and three candles.
It also bore a resemblance to the Juventus home strip, with two dark coloured cakes for ‘CR’, and a white cake for number 7
Ronaldo had already experienced plenty of excitement before then, as friends surprised him outside a restaurant in the city centre.
They let off confetti cannons and sang Happy Birthday to him, in front of a black KE 77,927,804.64 (£600,000) Mercedes Benz Brabus which was wrapped in a giant red bow.
Georgina posted a video of the moment on her own Instagram account, and said:
“Congratulations to the man of my life! I demonstrate my love to you with your present.”
