Tallia Oyando has joined Radio Jambo after an impressive seven-year tenure with Homeboyz Radio.
The award-winning radio and TV presenter took to social media on the evening of Thursday, April 16, 2020, to inform her fans that the Friday night, April 17 was her last show with Homeboyz.
“Tonight and tomorrow will be my final shows on Homeboyzradio and I’m grateful for the years. Thank you for tuning in thank you for the love. I love you wholeheartedly. From the bottom of my heart. Let’s catch up next door,” Tallia had shared.
The radio station took to its official page to thank the Emmy Award winner for her service and wished her prosperity in her new show.
“We wanna wish one of our own all the best as she makes a move to the next chapter! Nothing but Love and Blessings to Tallia Oyando on this transition! Say Jambo to the other side,” Homeboyz Radio put out.
The reggae enthusiast, who has been at the station since February 14, 2013, hosting a late-night reggae show, and dubbed the Night Nurse by fans, is sure to be missed with fans and her co-host DJ Bash wishing her the best.
“Final show with my radio wife. Stream Live from 9 p.m as we send off Tallia Oyando,” DJ Bash shared prior to her last show on Friday, April 17.
“New Face! New voice! Tallia Oyando will be seizing the airwaves every night, Monday to Friday from 7 p.m to 9 p.m on Radio Jambo. Don’t miss out on the show Reggae Wave,” Radio Jambo put out in a tweet.
Tallia is one of the most celebrated media personalities in the country, seizing the entertainment industry as a singer, radio and TV presenter.
