Bongo star Diamond Platnumz and rival Ali Kiba who have beefed for years finally got a chance to put their differences aside and unite for the same course.
The two who had shown up to Tanzania’s President Pombe Magufuli’s big event avoided running from each other as usual and sat together in one table.
They smiled, exchanged niceties and even had lengthy conversations without getting hot and bothered.
On the “reunion” table also sat Harmonize who once Diamond’s greatest friend, supporter and colleague before the two started hating each other.
“It makes me so happy to see Ali Kiba sitting next to Diamond Platnumz. It shows you how powerful our political party is,” Magufuli said.
The president also congratulated Harmonize for praising Diamond after going through a bitter fallout in the past.
The three musicians smiled as they listened to their leader laud them with so much pride.
Diamond and Ali Kiba have been on opposite ends since time immemorial.
They attack each other’s crafts, business ethics, talents and abilities both openly and through subliminals.
Diamond’s team severally referred to Kiba as talentless while Kiba declined to perform at Diamond’s Wasafi festival.
Harmonize dropped Diamond’s label after building his career with the latter for years.
The singer was disappointed with how his former boss never protected or respected his privacy and marriage.
