Good morning editor,
On behalf of Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) students I’d like to ask for your help. We need the public to know how the board of management has been oppressing its students before and even after all the COVID-19 pandemic situation.
Here are our grievances
* Magoha announced immediate reopening for finalists on 5th October, while KMTC is still planning to call its finalists students on 2nd November
*Students are being demanded to pay fees while at home and there is no proper teaching going on.
*Medical courses are not online based classes, they should be done physically and professionally in hospitals since we deal with the health of an individual.
*Restlessness among KMTC students for being kept at home while other higher learning institutions have reported back to College.
*The KMTC Board of management are assuming and not respecting students’ opinion.
*Students are the major stakeholders in KMTC and their opinions should count.
*We pay so high fees on transport and games yet we don’t utilize any of it
