Machakos County Governor Dr Alfred Mutua and wife Lilian Ng’ang’a have parted ways as posted on her Instagram.
The two parted ways due to irreconcilable differences, Kenyan Bulletin has learnt.
Lilian was a second wife to the flamboyant governor.
“The only constant in life is change and we must be present and aware to appreciate and embrace it. Winds of change blew my way and two months ago, I decided to end the long term relationship with Dr Alfred Mutua. We had a good run and I am forever grateful to God he brought us together. We remain friends,” she said in a statement.
In October 2020, Kitui East Member of National Assembly Nimrod Mbai was reportedly having an affair with Alfred Mutua’s wife.
Though the source did not divulge more details, Kenyanbulletin.com learnt that the probable wife that the MP was/is sleeping with is the governor’s first wife Dr Josephine Thitu Maundu. Might be the second wife, this has not yet been established.
Seven years ago when their marriage was rocked by a new entrant, a Kenya Airways (KQ) slayqueen named Lilian Ng’ang’a. Dr Thitu maintained that she is still married to the governor and that they have three children, a boy aged 7 years old and twins aged 4.
“My name is Dr Josephine Thitu. I got married to then Mr Alfred Mutua on 1st July 2OOO at Nairobi Baptist Ngong Road in a church ceremony. We are still married. And have three children, a boy aged 7 years old and twins aged 4.”
The Kitui East legislator is said to have gotten cosy with either one of the first ladies of Machakos that he chewed her inside a car in a parking lot.
Nimrod Mbithuka Mbai is a former policeman who served as Governor Mutua’s body guard for 10 years before running ans clinching the Kitui East member of National Assembly seat on a Jubilee Party ticket.
Now Alfred Mutua is wifeless. But a first wife love never fades, they can get back together.
