Soon after he managed to buy an award, Mandera East MP has been accused of land grabbing.
In a series of videos shared to Kenyan Bulletin , Mandera East Member of Parliament, Omar Maalim has fenced the road to pastoralists farms.
Omar Maalim, who was elected on EFP ticket was recently heard complaining that voter registration is low on the region and he might be using this to block members of the public from accessing grazing lands.

Last week, the politicians from the North said it is not easy to register more voters in the vast counties since locals have migrated with the livestock in search of water and pasture.
