Dennis Onsarigo has been appointed as the Nyamira County Chief of Staff.
The former KTN journalist was Raila Odinga Presidential Campaign Secretariat press secretary during the August polls.

Onsarigo confirmed his appointment on Thursday, October 27 extending his gratitude to the county governor, Amos Nyaribo.
This came amid claims that he had quit Raila Odinga’s team to join the county government which he confirmed.
“Yes, the reports are true,” Onsarigo said.
Among the roles of a county chief of staff include managing the governor’s office and coordinating the county staff.
Other roles include liaising with other arms of county governments to ensure that the governor’s agenda is implemented.
Onsarigo joins other media practitioners who have been appointed to devolved units in recent weeks.
Former Ramogi Radio host, Charles Odhiambo, was appointed as Chief of Staff in Homa Bay in early October 2022.
Others include former Musyi FM presenter Jacqueline Kalenga, nominated to the Kitui County Assembly, and Nicky Gitonga appointed Kwale County Government spokesperson.
