Former president Uhuru Kenyatta has confirmed he is still a member of the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition Party, despite his silence for a while.
Speaking in a couple of roadside rallies in Kisumu and Vihiga counties, the retired head of state said he was still rallying behind Raila Odinga and was committed to the coalition’s course regardless of his withdrawal from active politics.
“Even though I have retired from politics, I’m still a follower of Raila. If he asks me we go we have to do it. I supported him and I will continue doing so because I believe he is truthful,” said Uhuru.
