Questions that seem to lack answers have arised over the fact that one of ex-president Daniel Moi’s sons; John Mark Moi has seemingly been sidelined in his father’s burial preparations.
This was proven since Mzee Moi passed on as only Raymond Moi and Gideon Moi seemed involved in the burial preparations of the former Head of State.
During the national memorial service at the Nyayo Stadium, Mzee Moi’s last born son who is also the Senator of Baringo Gideon Moi paid a glowing tribute to his father while Raymond read eulogy after their other brother Phillip Moi opened the service with an emotional prayer.
Even during Moi’s final funeral service at his home in Kabarak John Mark has not be lined as one of the speakers in the ceremony expected to last less than four hours.
The first reading of the Bible will be done by grandchildren Kimoi Moi and Talissa Moi while the second reading will be by son Hosea Moi and Paula Jepkemboi.
Moi’s eulogy will again be read by , Phillip and twin sister Doris Moi while a poem will be read by his granddaughter Laila Cherobon.
Sources have however revealed that John Mark is unwell.
