Kenyan RnB singer Otile Brown has spoken on why he broke up with his Ethiopian girlfriend Nabbi.
Otile Brown’s words came after a fan accused him of being dumped by her because he did not have money.
The singer had shared a post where he was introducing his new cloth line, where he announced that a suit would cost Sh40,000.
A fan going by the name Faiza then threw shade at the singer saying that people who can afford such suits, are busy chasing his ex-girlfriend Nabayet. She went on to say that the singer should do something about it, before she is gone for good.
“@otilebrown Dudes who can afford this suit are currently after your girl… you better go get Nabbi before it’s too late,” said the fan.
Otile Brown who thought it wise to address Faiza’s claims said that Nabbi did not walk away because of money, stating that she was born around it.
“@faizaola45 Nah, money never move her, she was born around it,” she said.
This is comes weeks after Otile Brown in a song disclosed that Nabbi left because she thought he was cheating, but it was only a test.
In the song named after her (Nabayet), Otile Brown said that he is a lover, but scandals have been a big obstacle in his quest to settle down, as ladies often judge him wrongly.
He went on to say that he had even changed his ways because of the Ethiopian beauty and he is not someone who just plays around promising that if she (Nabayet) says that she wants to settle down, he would do it
“Nimejaliwa moyo wa upendo na nikipenda napenda vibaya ila skendo zimefanya sijasettle madem wananihukumu vibaya. Nimebadili hata mienendo wanadai nimefuria ile mbaya maana sifanyi hiki kitendo na skendo sina hamnazo kisa wewe mama. Wananiita playboy heartbreaker baada ya kitendo nasepa yaani hawaniamini hata kama nawatania baby mimi sio mtu wa mchezo mchezo Nabayet ukisema nikuoe hata leo Nabayet,” sang Otile Brown.
