Paul Sirere, Jackeline Magaya, and Alex Kingwa are under DCI cells for allegedly defrauding a Nairobi man Sh410, 000 after promising him to land a Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) job.
The three fraudsters were nabbed after they urged the victim to meet them yesterday to cut another deal that would see his relative land a similar job.
…where upon search three more fake KDF calling letters were confiscated. Sirere, Jackline MAGAYA & Alex KINGWA placed in custody pending arraignment to answer to charges of Obtaining Money by False Pretences contrary to section 313 of the Penal Code.

They are expected to be charged with obtaining money by false pretenses contrary to section 313 of the Penal Code. If found guilty, they are liable for three years imprisonment according to the Kenyan law. We are not sure if the conned man will be arrested and arraigned in court for bribing to get the job offenses too.
