In a dubious business of importing cereals, the fraudster is alleged to have swindled more than Sh10 million from unsuspecting traders.
She would entice traders by purporting to import the cereals from Malawi and Tanzania. She would then go into hiding after pocketing upfront payments from the traders.
Detectives attached to the Serious Crimes Unit (SCU) managed to track and arrested her at Riara Junction Apartment in Kiambu County.
Victims of the fraud have been urged to report to the DCI Headquarters at the SCU department.
An almost similar incident occurred in Nyali, Mombasa County after a notorious fraudster in the area, was nabbed while in his hideout at Beach Road apartments in Nyali.
For him, he has defrauded Kenyans over Sh11 million shillings. The suspect is named Fahmi Said.
