A lawyer who is set to represent Nairobi County Assembly in the impeachment motion against Governor Mike Sonko at the senate was on Sunday night involved in a road accident along Ngong Road.
Speaking exclusively to Ghetto Radio News Ashioya Biko says he escaped death by whisker though he did not sustain serious injuries.
“I was from a meeting along Ngong Road when the incident occurred…I was hit at the back before my vehicle rammed into another one that was in front but I thank God am well,” he said.
Ashioya will be prosecuting Sonko’s ouster motion on Wednesday before the senate.
He has maintained that he is not scared and will continue with his job come Wednesday.
“Am not a coward, this cowardly attempts are part of us…on Wednesday we will be on course and I shall do my best at the senate,” he added.
Sonko’s impeachment will be heard by the Senate plenary.
