Following reports of his marriage to yet another 23-year old youth during his 72nd birthday at the Coast Mary Kilobi the 3rd wife to COTU secretary general Francis Atwoli has responded.

In her Cheeky response on social media, the celebrated journalist stated that her attention had been drawn by the trendy teenager, adding that she would look for her and have a conversation with her.

“Huyu Dem wa 23 Year Old Msomali au sijui Jamila Mbugua si ametesa Jameni? Watu hawalali!. Mkimuona salimia yeye sana. Nitamtafuta tujadiliane,” she posted.

This is after reports from a local publication and TV personality Jamila Mbugua indicated that the trade unionist secretly married a 23-year old muslim girl during the time of his birthday celebrations in Watamu.

The COTU boss reportedly checked in at the Coastal’s Mawe resort in Watamu to celebrate his birthday in the company of his journalist wife Mary Kilobi Atwoli.

Reacting to the same States house spokesperson Kanze Dena noted that the said lady was a non existent.

“Salamu tutafikisha…swali ni pepo hufikishiwaje salamu?” she posed.

The COTU boss has been a trending topic since weekend when he celebrated his birthday, with videos of him enjoying a yacht ride in the Indian ocean.

His wife Mary Kilobi also penned him a beutiful message on his birthday terming him a Mister A, while wishing him good life full of happiness.

“Happy Birthday My Mr. A. A long and I mean a looooong life of great health and happiness is my sincere prayer to God Almighty for you!,” she said.

He took to social media thereafter thanking the netizens for their warm wishes, not leaving out his son Philipo and CS Eugene Wamalwa who accompanied him to the Coast during the celebrations.

“May I take this opportunity to say a big thank you for all your warm birthday wishes. Sincere gratitude to my wife Mary Atwoli, Waziri Eugene Wamalwa and my son Philipo who took me on a yacht trip around the Indian Ocean,” Atwoli posted.

Atwoli and Kilobi met in Uganda where Kilobi began her journalism career as an intern with the Uganda Broadcasting Corporation (UBC) in 2005.
