Lawyer Miguna Miguna has launched a scathing attack against President Uhuru Kenyatta, accusing him of being behind his international travel woes.
Miguna, who had planned to return to Kenya after a two year deportation period, has so far missed two flights to the country under mysterious circumstances.
In the first instance, Miguna was barred from boarding a Lufthansa flight owing to an apparent red alert flagging him from travelling to African countries.
The political activist, however, found a way around this hurdle and secured a seat on an Air France flight, only to be forcefully ejected from the plane minutes after finally ‘boarding’.
According to Air France’s explanation to Miguna on the reason for his ejection, the airline was acting in compliance with entry requirements for countries it serves.
“…as such (Air France) is not authorized to knowingly board passengers for a destination to which they are denied access,” the airline wrote to the lawyer.
The former Nairobi County gubernatorial candidate is now blaming Uhuru for frustrating his efforts to return to his motherland, even after the government promised to facilitate his unconditional return as per court orders.
“Air France removed me from Flight AF0814 from Charles De Gaulle Airport to JKIA, which was about to take off. Despot Uhuru Kenyatta and Conman Raila Odinga are so afraid, cowardly, tyrannical and weak that they have sent RED ALERTS to all airlines. We shall never surrender!” Wrote the lawyer
