Embrace Kenya Team is currently in Garissa County on invitation of Governor Ali Korane.
The team held a rally at Garissa Town Primary school where they preached their message of cohesion, peace and inclusion including support to the ‘handshake’ between President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga.
The team which supports the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) also found time to visit Garissa University and pay tribute by laying wreaths at the memorial stone of the slain students. The terror attack claimed lives of over 150 young Kenyans in April 2015.
