A police helicopter crashed at Kaithe Kithoka area in Meru on Saturday morning.
The cause of the early morning accident is yet to be established.
Reports indicate that the AgustaWestland AW119 helicopter with registration 5Y-NPW crashed at around 7.30am.
It had four occupants: one sustained serious injuries while the others escaped with minor bruises.
Susan Kanana, the owner of the farm where the chopper crashed told Citizen Digital that her entire farm produce hovered over the same spot for a few minutes before crashing.
“The crash has destroyed my maize, my bananas and other crops…there will be nothing to harvest now,” she said.
The chopper was reportedly enroute to Marsabit when the incident occurred.
