Tanzanian Drug Mule ‘Binti Kiziwi’ Vixen Released From COVID-19 Torn China Prison

Tanzania’s drug mule and a popular video vixen in the famous Binti Kiziwi song by Tanzanian Bongo artiste Z Anto has been set free after 7 years in prison for drug trafficking.

Sandra Khan, has jetted back to Tanzania after serving her time. She was arrested at a Chinese airport back in 2013 after she was found to have been drug trafficking inside her stomach.

Khan was nabbed after she complained of stomach problems during her flights. When the plane landed  in China, paramedics were informed of her complaints and she was put on quick medical check in the Airport. The screening tests however revealed that she had been trafficking drugs inside her body.

Khan was subjected to through further checks at the airport’s facility and was found to have been carrying drugs in her stomach.

Khan was detained for two years while her case was being worked on before she was sentenced to another five years after being found guilty of drug-trafficking.

The artiste Z Anto visited the former video vixen at her home. He posted a message on his Instagram thanking God for his goodness alongside a picture of his and Khan. “God is good all the time. Alhamdullilah,” he said.

She served her jail-term in full after which she was flown back to Tanzania. According to her former boss Z Anto, she is living in Dar es Salaam. Khan came into the limelight after the 2007 song Binti Kiziwi was released.

The then video vixen played the deaf girl role in the hit that made it to East Africa’s trends and topped many musical charts.
