Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho in Trouble

While many of Kenyans online, most who don’t reside in Mombasa and some have never stepped their feet in the coastal city continue showering praises to the slay-king Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho who erected a walk through disinfectant booth- using taxpayers money they way is supposed- to curb the spread of COVID-19, Kenyan Bulletin crew has received credible information on why things are not working in Mombasa County.

While he continue to enjoy the media hype and commendations on his covid-19 response, he equally needs to keep his admistration working. Something that he is slowly failing or probably, has already failed.

Was it so bad to an extend that Joho who has been globetrotting as Mombasa rots and massive business collapses had to use COVID-19 to win his people’s hearts back?

Well- the only thing that might be working is that disinfectant booth! You think so, Check out what is happening here in this courtesy video.

Hello Kenyanbulletin.com, I hope you are doing fine together with your loved ones. Am writing this hoping that with your massive influence on crucial matters, that a light might shine on the concerned parties, with regards to Mombasa county government running.

Most contracted Mombasa county employees ( inspectorate department heavily affected) that is apart from the ministers and the big guys haven’t been renewed their contracts since last year December when their contracts were due.

No formal communication has been made concerning that, whether they should look for jobs anywhere or they will be back. Some are still on the road working like the county askaris are still on the road working. Some were given transfer letters but haven’t been paid since December.

The reason why their contract issues haven’t been addressed was that the board or committee concerned was not formed. It was formed later but didn’t meet since December.

These are people with families and mouths to feed. They are now on lockdown at home with barely means to survive.

Am not sure if the governor is aware of the issue since he’s on the forefront in helping the residents of the county cope up with the corona menace but the county workers are desperate for help.

The most affected is the inspectorate department. Someone affected asked when the board will meet and they were told until the corona issue is over. Kindly assist
