Governor Mike Sonko has been forced to find another seat after being removed from the main dais during retired President Daniel Moi’s burial. The city politician had just arrived at Moi’s Kabarak home in Nakuru few minutes past 10 am on Wednesday, January 12, and headed straight to the VIP section.
However, his stay was disrupted by plain-clothed three security officers who asked him to vacate the seat. An embarrassed, Sonko attempted to resist the move but the elite guards could hear none of it as they pulled him out. The troubled leader finally took another seat outside the VIP section as the Mzee’s funeral ceremony got underway.
A few days ago, he was also ejected out of parliament by the military when he tried to Livestream and hold a press as he was viewing Moi’s body
