The body of a man in his early twenties has been found at Kiango Market, Bomachoge Borabu Constituency in Kisii County.
County Police Commander Martin Kibet said that Juma Onsongo had been stabbed repeatedly on the neck and dumped at the market close to Kissi- Narok boarder. Kibet also added that investigations into the murder have been launched.
Onsongo is to have left his house to watch a soccer match at Riyabu Secondary school playgrounds after which he returned home and again left to buy airtime and did not return. Its at that point that his relatives suspected that something might have gone wrong.
His body was moved to Nyamache sub county morgue. Onsongo had gone from Nairobi to attend a friend’s funeral, about two months after burying his grandmother.
Kibet urged the family and locals to remain calm as the police does invesyigation to net the killers.
