Uhuru fires back at CJ Maraga

President Uhuru Kenyatta has fired back a salvo at the President of supreme cour David Maraga.

Angry Maraga complained about mistreatment by officials from the executive with motives to oust him before december 32.

He also stated that he will choose which  State functions to attend until he is accorded the respect he deserves.

Uhuru on the other end challenged the judiciary to clear cases on corruption that have been pending for years.

Maraga said that their budget has been cut with motives to cripple judiciary functions and kick him out of office by December 31st. Uhuru had promised to ‘deal’ with Maraga na ‘wakora wake’ after his win was nullified in 2017.

On Tuesday Maraga alleged that the Judiciary only received sh50 million allocation from the supplementary budget.

Reliable sources have revealed to KB that some Cabinet Secretaries are not happy that Maraga has refused to bend to their demands.

Two weeks ago, the rejected Maraga’s list of JSC nominees claiming that it was tainted.
