Secular turned Gospel singer Rosemary Wahu Kagwi commonly popularly as Wahu has been charged in a Nairobi court for careless driving without a valid license.
The sweet love hit maker is also facing charges of causing obstruction.
The popular musician was engaged in the offenses on Ring Road in Kileleshwa, Nairobi on November 21, the court was told.
Gospel musician Rosemary Wahu Kagwi commonly popularly as Wahu has been charged at a Nairobi court with dangerous overtaking and driving without a valid driver’s license.
She is also facing a charge of causing obstruction.
On Thursday, the court heard that the popular musician was engaged in the offenses on Ring Road in Kileleshwa, Nairobi on November 21.
It is alleged that Wahu was driving her Mercedes Benz 440L without a valid driver’s license which is contrary to the law.
In another count, she is accused of dangerously overtaking several vehicles.
Wahu obstructed other road users by positioning her vehicle on the pathway of other motorists.
She appeared before Magistrate Elector Riani where she pleaded innocent to all the charges preferred against her and was released on a Sh15, 000 cash bail.
