Killer Police In The Murder Case Of The Star Correspondent Erick Oloo Exonerated

The name of Chief Inspector Sabina Kerubo, in whose house the body of the murdered  Siaya-based Star correspondent Erick Oloo was found, was missing in the charge sheet presented to the court on Monday.

This is despite County Commander Francis Kooli confirming that Kerubo had been arrested yet she was not been presented to the court.

The Police presented in court two brothers believed to have been in the scene of the murder and requested the court to detain them for 14 days to allow them complete investigations.

The two brothers, Victor Lutta and Franklin Lutta, were presented before Siaya Senior Resident Magistrate Geoffrey Ong’ondo.

The magistrate allowed the prosecution to detain the duo for 11 days before bringing them back to take the plea.

Last week, Siaya County Commander Francis Kooli said they had arrested Kerubo, her teenage daughter, house help and the two brothers over the murder. Siaya County Commissioner Michael Ole Tialal, however, allayed the concerns, claiming said Kerubo is still being processed and will be arraigned on Tuesday.
