Remains of a man suspected to be a police officer were recovered from underneath twisted corrugated iron sheets at the Brooke trading center in Ainamoi Constituency.
The fire that killed the man razed down business premises at the center. Up to 14 business premises were gutted in the Tuesday 10 pm incident.
According to preliminary reports and sources at the scene, the cop was asleep in a room adjacent to his business when the fire broke out.
Some police officers positively identified the body.
