Kisumu County has lodged a complain with the Kisumu Central Police Station after the embattled speaker Onyango Oloo varnished with furniture worth Sh3 million from his formely County’s Speakers Quarters.
According to Acting Clerk Owen Ojuok cabinets, executive sofa sets, TV, executive bed and other furniture belongs to the County Assembly which were to be handed over by former Speaker Onyango Oloo after the court ruling on his impeachment case are missing.
Ojuok added that Oloo vacated the Speaker’s house the same day the judgment was delivered.
It is alleged that that the team taking inventory of the Assembly property visited the house situated next to Kisumu State Lodge and discovered that furniture was missing.
