An American citizen has been charged for defrauding a Kenyan of Somalia origin Sh3 million in business transactions that never existed.
The accused Von Houten Cornelious Dixon was paraded before Nairobi chief magistrate Wendy Michemi where he denied defrauding Awil Abdulle of the amount.
The accused was ordered to provide a bond of Sh500,000 and one surerity or place a bail of Sh200,000 and one contact person.
According to the prosecution the accused persons is said to have lured the complaint that he was in a position to franchise Kutiko express Business to Java coffee the fact he knew to be false.
The offence is said to have been committed between 9th December 2021 and 30th of the same year.
