Anxiety and confusion rocks Kenya as another prominent businessman Bashir Mahmoud believed to be the Deputy President William Ruto’s close aide went missing and his car was found burnt beyond recognition in Ngong Forest Kajiado County.

Reports by Citizen TV on Tuesday 18 May 2021 indicated that Bashir’s vehicle was found burnt beyond recognition and where the incident took place was completely cleaned a move believed to bury the evidence, even though his vehicle was reduced to ashes.

Reports further indicate that renowned businessman who has won several construction tenders in the Government including the construction of Uhuru Highway in Nairobi is believed to be a close friend to the second in command after a photo of him and the Deputy President while having a good time in a Hotel was displaced by Citizen Tv.

“Missing Nairobi Businessman: Police probe disappearance of Nairobi businessman Bashir Mahmoud. The shell of a vehicle believed to be Mahmoud’s car found in Ngong forest. Mahmoud’s lawyer says but he businessman disappeared on Thursday last week,” reads the Media house report.

Responding to the dramatic incident of his husband, Bashir’s wife blamed the occurrence on the Kenyan Government, claiming the government must be aware of her husband’s whereabouts.

She further revealed that the speculations that Bashir has been a close ally of the second in command are very true.
