Embakasi East MP Babu Owino has threatened dire consequences to Kandara MP Alice Wahome whom he accused of underming the President Uhuru and ODM leader Raila Odinga.
In a statement of Twitter, Owino promised that he and ‘other people’ would shave the Kandara MP’s hair if she did not tone down.
Owino’s statement came a week after the vocal Kandara MP sensationally accused President Kenyatta of scheming to extend his power beyond 2022.
According to her, ODM leader Raila Odinga is Uhuru’s new ‘political mercenary for hire’ and the BBI report is the special-purpose vehicle leading to the route of ‘self succession.’
“We cannot go the 1992 route when we changed Section 2A but failed to also determine whether President (Moi) should run or not, and we left it open,” Ms Wahome was quoted as saying.
The MP is part of a faction that has faulted the BBI, terming it as a truce between the political elite keen on awarding themselves leadership positions.
