A concerned Kenyan has warned members of the public against engaging in business with a controversial conwoman from Nakuru County.
The suspect identified as Christine Waitherero Muthua alias ‘Tina’ has been described as a serial trickster notorious for defrauding unsuspecting victims of their hard-earned cash running into millions of shillings.
Although her activities are mainly based in the Rift, Ms Waitherero is reported to have multiple pending cases in court where she quickly gets off the hook thanks to a well-organized con syndicate that protects her.
Recently, when she unlawfully took Sh350k from the latest casualty of her criminal escapades, the affected party was shocked to see her freed on a Sh30k bail which was simply a slap of the wrist.
Sources say that the cartel includes a rogue senior police officer from Kaptembwo Police Station in Nakuru who is alleged to be her secret lover.
So profitable has been Ms Waitherero’s enterprise that she proudly resides in Nakuru’s premier “Meadows” estate and has her kids enrolled in an unnamed international school within the county.

“This lady by the name Christine Waitherero Muthua is a notorious con-woman with operations in Nakuru but she has pending court cases all over the country.
She conned Sh350k and what surprises me is that she was as reigned in court only to be granted a bond of Sh30k despite her having similar pending court cases.
Alvin Linus Chivondo – a man who recently stole rice and cooking oil worth Sh3k was granted a bond of Sh100k and someone stealing Sh350k is granted a bond of only Sh30,000 despite of her being a known criminal.
She has built a con syndicate that protects her.
She is dating a police officer attached to Kaptembwo Police Station in Nakuru one Mr Isaac King’ori.
We have formed a WhatsApp group for the victims she has conned.
We want the DCI to intervene and profile this woman as a notorious criminal and the judiciary to scrape this bond because she repeats the same crimes over and over again.
She lives large in Nakuru’s posh Estate – Nakuru Meadows House No.55 and her kids attend international schools.
All this is at expense of hardworking Kenyans.
