Bishop orders Waruguru out of his church, hires pulpit to Kamanda

Bishop Ndirangu Ngunjiri of AIPCA Nanyuki was forced to ask Laikipia Women Representative Catherine Waruguru out of the church to allow nominated Mp Maina Kamanda in to drum up support for BBI. The presiding bishop claimed that Waruguru was not invited but gate crushed into the church acompanied by over 200 drunk men.

As the drama unfolded, the bishop went ahead to allege that he had recieved intelligence that Waruguru would storm the church and cause chaos. There was a chaotic scene last week beween Kamanda and Hon. Ndindi Nyoro when they collided in a Muranga church last week.

Maina Kamanda has maintained on the road around central Kenya doing church politics and pushing for Building Bridges Initiative. The bishop however claimed that he allowed Maina Kamanda to address the congregation because he had invited him as a personal friend but would allow Team Tanga Tanga’s Waruguru to disrupt church service because the church is not a political battle ground. He also added that Kamanda will return to the church on october 13 to welcome President Uhuru Kenyatta.

After being kicked out, Waruguru addressed her supporters at the Thingithu grounds, castigated Kamanda and pointed that she will run for Laikipia gurnatorial position in 2022. She also accused Laikipia deputy governor John Mwaniki of hiring the goons who chased her out the church.
