The first case ever of the dreaded Coronavirus (COVID-19) virus has been confirmed in the country.
The case was confirmed on Thursday night, March 12.
A Kenyan lady who travelled back to Nairobi from US via London on March 5 is believed to have been the carrier of the deadly virus.
In a report released by the UN’s World Health Organization, Kenya had been ruled out of the African countries with possible cases with the government assuring all the essential measures were in place to respond to any arising case.
