Kenyans raised concern over COVID-19 donations which are already disappearing right under their noses, “There is no war on corruption just war on poor Kenyans. You guys are toothless, you work for the most corrupt regime ever that masterminds mega scandals in our country where trillions have been lost but you can’t even do any proper investigations just here to net small fish!” One user, @therealgakio wrote.
Kenyans demanded answers regarding the British high commissioners part in the play where corruption money is hidden and stashed in the UK, with netizens demanding the money be repatriated and restored to Kenyans.
“These guys talk about how to hide corrupt, nothing to show to Kenyans,” a distraught Kenyan wrote. “Honest opinion we need ya’ll out of our country you continue to play games with the Kenyan elite at our expense… The current economy has been plundered by the current government… Our money hidden in banks you know so tackling corruption how?” another one posed.
The meeting, which Netizens concluded was a charade and no accountability was being discussed was held on the 24th of April
