In what appears as a revenge mission over his recent encounter with KFCB boss Ezekiel Mutua on explicit content Celebrated Comedian Eric Omondi has come to the aid of Musician Kevin Bahati.

this is after KFCB boss Ezekiel Mutua cancelled his deal with the musician over policy partnership contravention after his video puffing a huge cigar did rounds online.

Speaking during the listening party for his new album, the self proclaimed President of Comedy in Africa stated that the move was a compensation to Bahati following the cancellation of the support by the board.

The funny man also added that Bahati reached out to him personally calling for Ezekiel Mutua’s number to mend things to which he declined moving swiftly in person to help Bahat.

He continued that he moved in to help in reinstating the sponsorship personally after the moral cop made the cancellation public.

“So When I heard that @bahatikenya’s Sponsorship worth Ksh 200,000 had been Cancelled just afew hours before his event, as the PRESIDENT of Entertainment I had to step in and reinstate the Sponsorship personally. I honestly don’t think @bahatikenya did anything wrong. As creatives sometimes we are called upon to do just that…be creative,” wrote Omondi.

Omondi added that the Wewe wa nani hitmaker made the move to fend for his fmily being the only way to earn a living , noting that he had learned his lesson just like others before him.

“Bahati did whatever he did just to push his album and that’s how he puts food on his table. The guy is a father of FOUR bwana😥😥😡😡…But just like @mulamwah he has learnt his lesson. When he called me to ask for number ya yule CEO, si munajua yule jamaa wa vipindire I told him Wachana na huyo jamaa hasaidiangi watu but hakuskia. Next Time Tafuta PRESIDENT bwana Wachana na Ma CEO, ama namna Gani my friend?”

This comes just hours after city-based businessman Alinur Mohamed had castigated the KFCB CEO stating that there were better ways of resolving issues rather than doing it online.

In his castigation to Mutua Alinur continued that the move did not only paint Bahati negatively, but also impacted negatively on his main source of income.

“I believe there are better ways to sort issues other than parading them online for cheap publicity. KFCB’s CEO Dr. Ezekiel Mutua alias Deputy Jesus has said that he has cancelled 200K partnership deal with @BahatiKenya. That has not only tainted Baha’s name but also jeopardized his main source of income. In my consistent commitment to support local artists, I am going to pay the 200k to Bahati” promised Alinur Mohamed.

This is after a video of the hitmaker surfaced online with a huge cigar as puffs it at a joint, with a lady behind him.

“This week @InfoKfcb cancelled over 200k cash and other kind support to musician @BahatiKenya following the posting of videos which contravened our clean content and partnership policy. Our team decided to cancel the support and disassociate completely with the planned event,” wrote Mutua.
