Carjacker Boris Mutua arrested in Mombasa

Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) detectives have arrested Boris Mutua from  his house in Kiembeni, Mombasa during an operation that also saw them recover a motor vehicle- A Toyota Ractis of registration KCX 726 Q.

The same car that had been captured on CCTV September 17 with different plates; KCU 113 P near the Texas Building in Nyali.

Following credible information from members of the public, a team of detectives lead by the CCIO Mombasa has arrested BORIS MUTUA MALAI from his home in Kiembeni and recovered a Toyota Ractis bearing Reg. No. KCX 726 Q. https://t.co/WtZloC2Clg

In the CCTV footage, the car occupants were captured breaking into another car and stealing unknown valuables.

Boris Mutua is held in custody as the detectives pursue several people belonging his gang.
