Churchill show comedian Njenga Mswahili laid to rest

The late Churchill show comedian James Anthony Njenga popularly known as Njenga Mswahili was finally laid to rest in an emotional send-off.

In a ceremony that took place on Thursday, November 14, several comedians among them Daniel Ndambuki alias Churchill who was his former employer was in attendance.

“Laying to rest one of our comrades. Njenga Mswahili will be missed dearly, may his soul rest in peace,” Churchill mourned in his post on Instagram.

In photos shared on various social media platforms, his former colleagues and friends, donned black T-shirts with his name and photo printed on them.

On Thursday, November 7, 2019, Mswahili’s body was found on a rail track in Dagoretti, under unclear circumstances.

Njenga who was a popular comedian was occasionally featured on NTV’s Thursday Churchill Raw since its debut in 2013.
