Clients left in despair as fraudulent courier service “Speedaf Kenya” shuts down operations

Speedaf Kenya Logistics

Former clients of a poorly-rated courier services provider based in Nairobi have been left in total anguish and despair following the emergence of reports that the disgraceful company has ceased operations.

From social media posts seen by kenyanbulletin.com on various platforms, the firm known as Speedaf Logistics Kenya, recently shut down their offices located along City Cabanas.

One of their many victims who excitedly shared the news on Facebook revealed that the company has since grounded their entire fleet of haulers in anticipation to permanently exit the Kenyan market.

“Mnakumbuka hii kampuni vile ilinitenda? Niliwaambia wanilipe wakakausha na wakaniambia nifanye kitu naeza fanya. I consulted my ancestors. Sai wamepark lorry zao pale Cabanas na biashara iliwashinda,” the guy named Kevoh Supa wrote on his post.

“In business, every client matters,” he added.

In a previous post shared three months ago, Kevoh narrated to his friends how he lost a package worth over Sh145,000 due to negligence by a Speedaf Logistics agent in Kilifi.

When he reported the issue to the company’s staff, they advised him to travel all the way to the coastal town and launch his own investigations into the incident.

These guys are really unreliable. They don’t take any responsibility for any damages or losses,” he lamented.

Quite unsurprisingly, the chap is just one among hundreds of Kenyans, mostly traders, who have experienced a nasty customer service from the company.

A quick peep at their online service review section paints a clear picture of their unprofessionalism and unresponsiveness.

In their monologues, all the victims strongly advise the public against shipping their products through Speedaf Logistics.

“Do not use this company. You will lose your money and peace,” wrote one Robbie Murage.

“It’s been 3 weeks, I’m still waiting for my order and now I can’t even contact them. Worst experience ever,” another victim by the name Bruce Mboya added.

In a case similar to the by Kevoh above, a lady named Nicole Chege disclosed how she the company has been playing cat and mouse games ever since they admitted to losing one of her packages as a result of their irresponsibility.

“They lost a package that was sent to me by AliExpress. Even after admitting it was lost and they are supposed to take responsibility, their ‘claims’ department is still taking me round and round,” she angrily lamented.

In retrospect, it is rather unfortunate that despite once being among the leading China-Africa integrated logistics service providers, Speedaf express that was founded in 2019, has been treating its Kenyan clients as second-tier customers.

Speedaf express prides itself on cross-border and door-to-door logistics services between China and emerging markets in Africa.

With its localized operations, Speedaf express has networks in Ghana, Uganda, Kenya, Nigeria and Morocco.

Our efforts to seek a comment from the firm regarding these cathing accusations hit a brick wall as all our calls to Speedaf Logistics were rudely declined.
