Corrupt Abdulwalli Shariff Ahmed, owner of rogue firm Tunasco exposed

The owner of shadowy firm Tunasco Abdulwalli Shariff Ahmed has been accused of mistreatment.

Our Tunasco-KEMSA exposé touched on the character of Mr Shariff. In tenderpreneur circles, Tunasco, Mr Shariff’s form is known for corruption, using dark tactics to win tenders.

The power that the owners of the firm enjoy brought about by association and money, makes them act with ‘untouchable’ attitude.

To showcase his weird ways, Shariff would send a proposal in Tukish, even thought the Terms of Reference states it should be in English and then coerce a tender committee to let him bring a translator.

Shoddy works

Residents of Tana River County accuse the company of shoddy works in the construction of Sh200 million Oda Bridge at Bura Kofira in Garsen Constituency.

The bridge which is supposed to connect people from either sides of the Tana River was overcome by floods while still under construction in May 2017.

Despite a bad reputation the company still wins GoK tenders.

As earlier stated, the tender winnings are done through dark art of coercion.

It is not that the company is qualified.
