#DCIODPPHandsOffNyakundi: Kenyans Online Call For a Sober Directorate Of Criminal Investigations
DCI Boss George Kinoti. Kenyans have accused DCI of colluding with criminals to fix cases which then go on to collapse before courts. DPP has expressed regret working with DCI,

The DCI – Directorate of Criminal Investigations has fallen back to its bad ways.

When George Kinoti replaced the corrupt sociopath Ndegwa Muhoro, many people including those he had threatened to kill such as Senior Counsel Ahmednassir Abdullahi were joyous to be rid of an incompetent, bribe-taking, stinking, blood-drinking bureaucrat.

However, two years down the line, despite the best efforts of oversight and independent bodies, the rogue police force, the bane of Kenya reared its ugly head after it emerged that Blogger Cyprian Nyakundi was arrested by detectives who were commandeered by a known drug dealer by the name Nurdin ‘Tinta’ Akasha.

The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) also without regard for good precedence accepted a flawed file. The case as Kenyanbulletin.com learnt is still dilly-dallying, a seasoned prosecutor even excused herself from it.

Rewarding the incompetent

Ndegwa Muhoro, for his serving the corrupt system, was appointed as the top diplomat to Malaysia. Kinoti with his men were thought to be the savior, even when DPP Noordin Haji entered the fray, it was almost magical that Kenyans have finally got the best people; however, the precedence set now seems to be hard to change as the more things have changed, the more they remain the same.

Today, bloggers are at a grave danger like in the era of Ndegwa Muhoro.

Gire Ali, Robert Alai, Cyprian Nyakundi

When covid-19 cases started in Kenya, many Kenyans were in the dark, it only took the information from bloggers, which is actually, sourced from people on the ground to set Kenya on the right path.

Were it not for KQ staff Gire Ali first blowing the whistle and the matter taken up by bloggers, as the shy so-called mainstream media hid behind their glass windows waiting for government adverts.

It is bloggers like Cyprian Nyakundi and Robert Alai who have already paid the price, each fined Sh50,000 and Sh200,000 respectively, for telling people the truth about the fight against coronavirus in Kenya.

Today, following a publication by People Daily website that an arrest warrant has been issued against blogger Cyprian Nyakundi for failing to appear in court to plead to the charges of publishing a false information that a senior KRA official had died of coronavirus.

Blogger Nyakundi has published that the senior KRA official died from covid-19 complications, this was first confirmed by the pictures from his burial which were complete with PPE clothing and few mourners standing a metre apart.

The mainstream media, one Daily Nation then wrote about it confirming the same, Why would the ODPP and its boss Noordin Haji then summon the blogger? for what?

Dagoretti North Member of parliament John Kiarie was asked to apologise over remarks he made about coronavirus.

The STar Newspaper also made claims that 17 Members of Parliament (Senate and National Assembly) were infected with the disease, yet no action was taken against them.

Kenyans through the #DCIODPPHandsOffNyakundi hashtag wonder why it is only when Cyprian Nyakundi or any other blogger speaks for that matter, that everything comes to arrests, harassment, curt orders and bail money.
