New details have emerged Statehouse operative’s secret plan to tame Deputy President William Ruto who has proven that he is not a weakling when it comes to Kenyan politics.
The second in command has dethroned the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga as the popular and politician in the country following his huge support across the country recently.
It has now emerged that Statehouse operatives have been convening secret meetings in bod to tame the ever shinning Dp Ruto, from succeeding President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2022.
According to reports, the former Prime Minister’s camp was looking for a way to merge with politicians from President Kenyatta’s side, to build a strong alliance that will bring DP Ruto down easily come 2022.
Reports by Star Newspaper indicated that the Head of State allied politicians are working tirelessly to ensure One Kenya Alliance works with the opposition chief.
Reports further indicated that President Kenyatta’s political strategists have already recruited Governors Alfred Mutua, Wycliffe Oparanya, Hassan Joho, Mwangi wa Iria, and Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i into Raila’s side.
It has emerged that the team has been holding regular meetings, to enhance and prepare Mr. Odinga for the 2022 presidential campaigns, something the President is supporting.
It will be a big blow to the second in command should the Statehouse Operatives plan works, and DP Ruto will have to struggle to beat the other leaders who have been in politics longer than him.
