DPP Noordin Haji want Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko arrested and grilled over the loss of Sh357 million.
DPP Haji announced this during a press conference in Nairobi. He said that his office has enough evidence to charge the embattled governor and urged DCI to probe Sonko’s attempts to burry the case.
This comes a few weeks after Sonko failed to stop the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) from investigating him over claims of corruption.
The DPP admitted that investigation into the case has been challenging because of the accused’s repeated attempts to obstruct the probe.
