Former Nairobi governor Mike Sonko’s daughter Saumu Mbuvi took to the social media with a cautionary message to her former best friend Aeedah Bambi hours after going public with her former husband Senator Anwar Loitiptip.

Taking to social media in cryptic messages, after Aeedah posted photos of their wedding with the senator, Saumu noted that nothing lasts forever and therefore time is too precious to be wasted.

“Memories remind us that nothing lasts forever, you can be happy today and sad tomorrow, time is precious and should not be wasted, enjoy life and remember don’t count your days, make your days count,” Saumu posted.

In yet another post, the single mother of two added a cautionary bit stating that world is a temporary dwelling and thus choice of purpose is key while still alive and energetic.

“Some are busy chasing fame, others money living life with no purpose and direction. Soon as you realise your time is up it will be too late for you. So choose wisely hii dunia tunapita tuu (this world is not our home),” she wrote.

In what appears as a quick rejoinder to Saumu’s sentiment, Aeedah wrote that misfortunes do not strike people just because we don’t like them, as God doe not work the same.

“The fact that you don’t like someone does not mean they will suffer or not succeed! God is not from your village.” Wrote Bambi.

This is after the socialite had taken to the public wishing the love of her life a happy birthday as he turned a year older with pictures in their matching clothes.

“Happy birthday to my best friend, my greatest critic, my fiercest supporter, my accomplice, my workout partner, my love, my everything. Hon. Senator 005. Sherehe ianze (let the party begin)” she wrote.

Senator Loitiptip broke up with Saumu February 2021, claiming that the Senator was abusive
