Gideon Moi hits at DP Ruto Again!

Baringo County Senator Gideon Moi has accused leaders allied to Deputy President William Ruto of being a stumbling block in the fight against graft in Kenya.

Gideon also urged all leaders irrespective of their political affiliations to stop their 2022 campaigns and instead help President Uhuru Kenyatta fight the vice.

Speaking during his installation as a Sabaot elder at Kapsokwony in Mount Elgon, the KANU leader said corruption remains a major cause of poverty in Kenya.

“We are currently on a very delicate journey and we must support the president…in 2022 let God’s will be done, for now let us work for Kenyans,” said Gideon.

“Sell your policies in a proper manner and if Kenyans agree then they will vote for you…there’s no need of this back and forth and threats; there are some people who cannot be threatened.”

Former Bomet governor and Chama Cha Mashinani (CCM) leader Isaac Ruto on his part supported the planned phase two Mau forest evictions but however urged the government to ensure the process is done in a humane manner.

Ruto added that the government should ensure that the families evicted from the Mau forest are resettled.
