Jared Otieno who was mentioned in a goldscam ring a few years ago celebrated has celebrated his annoversary to wife in the most predictable way.

As per Instagram, Mr Otieno gave his wife a gold and tanzanite encrusted earing.

This was in celebration of 4 years of marriage.

It is not the first time the ‘businessman’ is doing this. He has a penchant for splashing cash.

A year before the two got married, the embattled tycoon gave his lady the keys to his six bedroom mansion. That came after he splashed KSh 15 million on their pre-wedding celebrations.

Shortly after being handed over to her new man by her parents, the beauty was surprised with the keys to the kingdom to signify she was officially the queen of the home.

She and her parents arrived at Jared’s home in helicopters and their family members followed in a convoy of expensive mean machines.

Ever since, Kendi has received a princess treatment and even their wedding was an affair to remember.

Not Rosy

For Jared however, the going has not been rosy.

He is still battling in court, allegations of engaging in crime, that of selling fake gold to a Dubai royal.

Though the Assets Recovery Agency (ARA) recently lost a case in which it wished to attach his luxury car, a Porsche Panamera worth Sh30 million the gold fraud case. His custom-made 2018 Bentley Continental GT worth at least Sh47 million is still with detectives investigating the fake gold business.

ARA claimed he was part of an international syndicate which has been in existence since 2012, fraudulently obtaining from investors monies on the pretense that they have precious metals, including gold.

“The respondent has no source of legitimate income and has been filing nil returns with the Kenya Revenue Authority since 2014 to date, which is the period the said motor vehicles were acquired,” the application for preservation stated.
