Police in Tana River county have recovered a middle aged unconscious man who is believed to have chopped off his private parts.
The case of the man, currently nursing serious injury at Coast General hospital, was reported at Garsen Police Station in Tana Delta sub-county.

SUBJECT.INCIDENT REPORT.
It was reported today 26/8/20 at 1640 Hrs.by one Sofia Ukau Said vide the above captioned OB.number, through mobile phone number 0727129428 that a person had been found by members of the public lying unconscious in a pool of blood at Center One area.
Police rushed to the scene and found a middle aged man of about 26 years who was later identified as Power Sammy,lying in a pool of blood and unconscious inside a room with his private parts missing.
Outside the house,about 5 meters from the door, chopped private parts ie penis and testicles believed to belong to the person were discovered on the ground.
It is suspected that either the person cut off the private parts himself or someone else did that at unknown time.
A slasher stained with blood was found near the victim inside the house.
He was rushed to Garsen sub county hospital for treatment plus the chopped private parts, before being referred to Coast General hospital,Mombasa for further treatment.
